Educational Field Trips & Community Service

At Friendship Day School for the Sciences and the Arts, your child will thrive in this abundant learning environment. Our scholars will be prepared for a global society by exposure to other cultures and languages including off-campus field trips. We will assess field trips this year based on the ongoing pandemic.

Kindergarten through second grades will visit Patterson Farm.

Third through fifth grades will visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

The science exhibits at Discovery Place stimulate our students’ curiosity and encourage lifelong learning.

Students can explore the aquarium, museum, and zoo at Greensboro Science Center.

High Point Children’s Museum provides a rich, hands-on learning experience with their interactive exhibits.

Students may visit Riverbanks Zoo to gain a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Community Service Opportunities

Serving others provides students with experiences and lessons taught beyond classroom walls. We emphasize the importance of empathy, compassion, responsibility, and community engagement.

Bright Blessings serves tens of thousands homeless and impoverished children by providing them with snack packs, hygiene kits, comfort items, and even birthday celebration packages.

Samaritan’s Feet is a non-profit humanitarian aid serving communities around the world by providing new shoes for those in need.
